## Insulated Dog House for Large Dogs
Behind the porch, a 17-1/2" x 29-3/4" door leads into a 38-1/2" x 44-1/2" room with 35-3/4" of headroom. The walls and flat ceiling are insulated with rigid foam and lined with plywood, and a 17-1/2" x 12" window in each side wall gives cross ventilation. Six short 4x4 legs on pavers hold the floor 10-1/4" above the ground.
### Cedar-Lined Porch and Portal
- 37-1/2" wide x 15-3/4" deep covered porch set into the front gable
- Cedar-lined porch walls, a stained ceiling and a thick 1x6 cedar portal frame
- 31-1/2" x 28" clear portal opening, a sheltered spot to lie and watch the yard
- The porch keeps snow and rain away from the room door
### Modern Black Dog House with Metal Roof
The tall 45° gable roof is 1/2" plywood, underlayment and black ribbed metal panels with a ridge cap and rake trim. Matte black siding, black corner boards and window frames give a clean, modern look, while 6" round vents in both gables and a 4" vent in the back wall keep the attic and room fresh.
